Pray Culpeper meeting at Reformation Lutheran Church today (Dec 30)
On Dec 14, I sent an email to people on the Pray Culpeper mailing list stating that Pray Culpeper is going virtual in early January. That still is our intention.
I also stated that Pray Culpeper would not hold any more in-person meetings on Wednesdays during December 2009. However, this turned out not to be the case.
Because of Dewey McDonnell’s faithfulness, Reformation Lutheran Church has remained open at Noon on Wednesdays during all of December for the weekly prayer gathering.
Yesterday I received an email from Pastor GW Dameron asking if anyone was going to be around for prayer at Noon on Dec 30. Dewey said he would. Pastor Brad Hales is on vacation. So today, I expect at least Dewey and Pastor GW will participate in the Pray Culpeper meeting.
If you live locally and can attend, great! If not, we still would appreciate your prayers for our community during that hour. I will not be able to attend because I’m driving to Massanutten to visit family for a few hours during this time interval.
Blessings to partake in regular prayer for your community no matter where you live!
